Ashley Judd fractures leg again in 'freak accident' after mom Naomi's death
on Wednesday, during which she disclosed that she had broken her leg over the summer while grieving the passing of her mother Naomi Judd.
She suffered a fracture of the femoral condyle 1 and a half years after she nearly died in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in February 2021 after fracturing her leg in a densely forested area.
According to Ashley, who spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, the most recent fracture happened during the summer.
"That's how it was. Grief is known to make individuals clumsy, and following the death of our mother, other family members,
when she had to regain her ability to walk after nearly bleeding to death on the 55-hour trip to the hospital.
