Bill Nye ‘the Science Guy’ marries journalist Liza Mundy

According to a People article on Wednesday, the venerable TV personality wed Liza Mundy in late May.

The ceremony was administered by "Star Trek" actor Robert Picardo in the Smithsonian Institute's Enid A. Haupt Garden in Washington, DC.

A source told the magazine that the vows Nye, 66, and Mundy, 61, penned themselves were "equal parts poignant and hilarious."

The couple first communicated via email when the former "Bill Nye the Science Guy" star read about the journalist's 2017 book

in her New York Times top rated book "Code Girls: The Untold Story of the American Women Code Breakers of World War II

Charge Nye purportedly connected with Mundy through email and started another sentiment, People reports.
