New details regarding the K-pop group's upcoming single, album, and world tour are also revealed in the teaser.

The K-pop powerhouses shared a brief announcement video on social media on Sunday, July 31.

It included a portion of what appeared to be a new song and a general release date for their upcoming single, album, and world tour

Fans are treated to a strange image of dark pink smoke in the 30-second teaser, "Born Pink," as a swollen instrumental dance beat plays in the background.

The "Born Pink" teaser follows the premiere of BLACKPINK's music video for the song "Ready For Love," which was just just published.

An international tour that would be the "biggest world tour in history of a K-pop girl group" would also be announced by the end of the year, according to the statement.

BLACKPINK graced the cover of Billboard magazine in 2019 prior to the release of THE ALBUM.
