How Dolly Parton’s seal of approval helped launch a new force in Aussie film

The musical comedy Seriously Red is the first film from Dollhouse, the production company launched by Rose Byrne and four friends.

The first leg of the journey was to deliver the script to Dolly Parton because we knew that was the most important thing to do.

Byrne had contacted Parton's manager, Danny Nozell, through her agent in the summer of 2016 with the screenplay her buddy Krew Boylan had written.
