Mary J. Blige to Release Debut Children’s Book ‘Mary Can!’ in 2023

Of her many accolades, Mary J. Blige can soon add “children’s book author” to her already impressive list of achievements.

The “Just Fine” singer shared the news about her debut effort on Instagram on Wednesday (Nov. 16)

A young girl named Mary shows in the inspirational and motivational book Mary Can! that everyone can achieve their goals if they have faith in themselves.

Because it is based on my own experiences as a youngster and even as an adult, it is such a personal story for me.

The singer, 51, carried on. "I want youngsters to grow up believing they can do anything they set their minds to," the author says of the book.
