Naomi Judd 'dogged by unfair foe' before death

The 76-year-old musician committed suicide at her home in April, and last week, 

after the results of the autopsy were made public, her family talked more about her struggles with mental illness.

The medical examiner's report states that Judd had multiple prescription medications in his system that were meant to treat bipolar illness and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Naomi's medical history included struggles with hepatitis C, chronic idiopathic pneumonitis, bipolar disorder, hypertension, and hypothyroidism.

The report said, "According to family, the decedent had recent life pressures and prior suicidal thoughts. 

Near the deceased at the scene, a weapon and a letter with possible suicide implications were discovered.
