Peppa Pig Theme Park temporarily closed

The park is closed Wednesday due to storm damage

Due to storms that passed across the area Tuesday night, Peppa Pig Theme Park will be closed on Wednesday.

According to a statement the Winter Haven park posted on its social media pages, the shutdown is the result of storm damage.

Peppa Pig Theme Park will be closed today, August 3, as a result of storm damage from yesterday night and out of prudence.

The first standalone theme park based on the kids' TV show Peppa Pig, Peppa Pig Theme Park, opened its doors in February.

The park, which is near to Legoland Florida, has a number of themed rides and activities in addition to a restaurant and a gift store.
