Sydney Sweeney's Chrome Nails and Silver Eyeliner Are Decidedly Futuristic
Sydney Sweeney knows how to work with metal. The "Euphoria" star (and self-taught mechanic) coordinated her silver eyeliner,
cracked mirror nails, and metal corset for the GQ Men of the Year Awards on Nov. 16 in London.
The star improved on winged eyeliner with the aid of renowned makeup artist Melissa Hernandez, who also applied Sweeney's makeup for her GQ cover
Hernandez added a metallic silver liner that complemented the other metallic elements in the look on top of a traditional black wing.
The rest of her face was left natural in order to let the chrome elements stand out, and a matte-mauve lip was added to counteract the shine
Sweeney hired celebrity nail technician Zola Ganzorigt, who as you might have guessed also did her nails on her GQ cover, to do her nails.
Ganzorigt developed "cracked mirror" nails, as the artist dubbed them, to give the chrome nail trend a playful spin.
