Teen loses a part of her leg in horrific shark assault on Florida seashore as member of the family beats away predator
A woman in Florida was attacked by a 9ft shark and saved by a member of the family who began beating it till it swam away.
Addison Bethea, 17, misplaced a part of her leg within the assault, in keeping with reviews.
Her father, Shane Bethea, posted on Facebook that she had been stabilised and that several medical professionals were working on her leg.

According to the Taylor County Sheriff's Office, the woman was searching for scallops near Keaton Beach in Taylor County, northern Florida, when she was bitten by a shark on Thursday in 5 ft of water.
