Yellowstone Season 5, Episode 4 Recap: Horses in Heaven

That’s more like it. After a slow start to season five, “Horses in Heaven” feels productive

There’s some plot happening in a few different corners of the story.

Of course, I'm referring to Beth and Jamie. It's never been easy to determine who Yellowstone wants us to support in their battles.

The revelation that he mistakenly brought Beth to get sterilised as a teenager in season three seems to support that.

But rather than actual malice, Jamie's biggest mistakes are usually caused by his cowardice and weakness.

Although Beth has arguably done less bad things than Jamie, in recent years, her character's superficial "toughness" has grown tiresome and monotonous.

Fortunately, "Horses in Heaven" gives us a glimpse of some of that, completely altering their dynamic for the first time ever.
