As we wait for a Yellowstone season 5 episode 9 return date over on Paramount Network, we definitely have time to think through some ideas.

Are we really going to wait until November to see just six episodes? Is that all the network really wants to give us?

As you may remember, the network declared earlier this year that the Kevin Costner series would return this summer.

A lot of factors, including rumors about the star's availability for filming, make it appear doubtful as of this writing. Currently,

it is hoped that filming will start this summer, which is a clear deviation from the original plan. We can only hope that the series will at least return around the same time as in 2022,

which does make us wonder if the network will come up with a means to make up for this prolonged wait for us.
