Yellowstone star Kevin Costner's big win at the 80th Golden Globe Awards 2023
Since it debuted, Yellowstone has been a huge success for Stan, and after five seasons, viewers are still captivated by the programme.
Kevin Costner won the Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama award at the 80th Golden Globes for 2023 on Tuesday, giving the show a huge victory.
He competed against Jeff Bridges from "The Old Man," Diego Luna from "Andor," Bob Odenkirk from "Better Call Saul," and Adam Scott from "Severance," but won.
He has never before taken home a prize in this category.
In the Stan series, Costner plays John Dutton, and Season 5 centres on his transition from being the owner of Yellowstone Ranch to becoming the governor of the US state of Montana.
The presenter, Regina Hall, stated, "I'm going to receive the trophy on your behalf, Kevin," as the Hollywood star was unable to attend the awards ceremony on Tuesday.
Costner revealed on Instagram that he and his wife Christine Baumgartner were unable to attend the award presentation because of the terrible weather in Santa Barbara, California, where they reside.
Since its launch, Yellowstone has shattered viewing records in the US with the Season 4 premiere garnering over 14 million total viewers and the finale delivering over 15 million total viewers.
