'Yellowstone' star Wes Bentley speaks out on season 5 and Kevin Costner rumors: 'They're still working on it'

Wes Bentley, who starred in the smash Paramount Network series "Yellowstone," has responded to allegations of intrigue about Kevin Costner's future on the show.

Deadline reported earlier this month that the Taylor Sheridan-penned western series "Yellowstone"

may be coming to an end due to scheduling difficulties with Costner, 68, who reportedly wanted to cut down on his time filming the project.

Although he admitted he wasn't part in the conversations, actor Bentley, 44, who plays Jamie Dutton, the adoptive son of Costner's character John Dutton, voiced his optimism for the show's future.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly that was published on Saturday, Bentley said, "The news that's come out recently about the programme is, you know, above my pay grade."

various individuals are making selections. According to what I've been told, they're still attempting to resolve issues with everyone to ensure that we can shoot.

"I have no doubt that we will. We have always done so. I believe it is mostly drama for no reason."

On Thursday, Costner's attorney, Marty Singer, denounced rumours that the actor was unwilling to put in as much effort to film "Yellowstone" seasons 5 and 6.
